While listening to Randy's video from the assignment I realized that about four months ago I read his book and really enjoyed it. I would recommend anyone to read or listen to this book as I really enjoy the advice and tips he gives. One that stuck with me is that it is not about achieving your dreams its about how you lead your life. For me when I look back and think of the dreams I had as a child, not a whole of of things come to my mind. The one thing I always knew I wanted was to be a wife and a mother. But I never aspired to do something specific like becoming a Doctor, Athlete, or Teacher. Because nothing ever stood out to me when I was in high school as something I really wanted to pursue I made my decision with the degree in college based on what I could do and what made sense logically. I have always been a Journal keeper. Shortly after I got married and moved I decided to accumulate all my Journals to see how many I had. I have basically kept a Journal since I was a child and have record of most of my life. When starting this class and learning that we needed to Journal each week my first thought was "that will be easy, as I already do this". After listening to the the videos and curriculum for the first week I came to quickly realize that this is a different type of Journal as it is not a recording of life events and feelings. Although some of this can be included it is more of a Journal to recognize and learn things about yourself when it comes to becoming an entrepreneurial minded person.
